  HOW E-MAIL MARKETING WORKS

The objective is to send a message to a group of addressees.

Starting from data copied(*) from an information store (which may or may not be in internet) a group of e-mails is produced which, in some cases, can hold information on any number of actions by the addressees.

In turn, the information generated (once the e-mail has been sent) should be collected and analysed, whether by statistics software or any other means. Finally, after all these measures, the campaign results are obtained.

In any follow-up campaign, these operations would have to be repeated.

(*) The fact that this information is copied causes errors in the e-mail versions. This is because addressee information changes continually.
